BLOCK Magazine #5 is HERE! and Mark your calendars

We got in late last night from quilt market.  WOW, did we find lots of cool things.  Many of the new items will be shipped immediately and we will be posting those items on facebook as they arrive.  Be sure and check it out!  If you are wondering what is new right now, BLOCK magazine #5 from Missouri Star Quilt Co has arrived.  If you are on our "HOLD" list, we have one waiting for you.  If you would like to be added to our "HOLD" list for future magazines, just give us a call or shoot us an e-mail.  We have 12 magazines not spoken for, so head on in or give us a call and we will put your name on it.  Once again, you won't be disappointed projects.  We especially love the Shannon scarf pattern.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 9 at 6 PM or Wednesday, December 10 at 10 AM
We are so excited to be hosting Karen De Witt.  Karen is the author of The Bunco Club, a story about eight women who share a common love of bunco and are true friends in spite of all of their differences.  She will be doing a talk and quilt program that you will not want to miss. Besides The Bunco Club, we also carry her second book in the series, Quilter's of The Bunco Club.  ***Please note that we will only be having Garden Club on the evening of Tuesday, December 9 at 6 PM and at 10 AM on Wednesday, December 10.  We will NOT be meeting for Garden Club on Tuesday, December 9 at 10 AM.  The cost for this event is FREE.  Just be sure and give us a call if you would like to attend so we know how many chairs to put up.

If you enjoy reading Debbie Macomber and Jennifer Chiaverini, you will love reading Karen DeWitt.  She will definitely hold your attention and I have termed her book a "sneaker" book.  Why a "sneaker" book?  When I was reading her book, I should have been cleaning my house and I found myself "sneaking" into my chair so I could read another chapter.  Of course I would keep telling myself, "Just one more chapter!"
