October HighlightsWe are running full swing into fall and have a fun line-up of classes on our schedule. We will still be adding more knitting classes soon and we have a tentative date of November 14 to have our first EQ6 class (will send a notice when these are finallized and on our class schedule). Fall fabrics have been arriving daily. We are ever on the watch for pre-quilted fabrics since we are bag ladies and two beautiful prints have just arrived. In addition, our flannels are numerous in the assortment of rich, warm colors! Why not do a raggy quilt for a loved one for Christmas? It's fast and it's appreciated! Our October SPECIAL is fabulous: Buy 2 Mettler threads--164 yard spools--(on same visit), and get one FREE spool of the same size!!!!! (Up to 5 free spools). Print off this newsletter and bring it in as your coupon in the month of October 2009 only. Stock up for those fall/winter projects you are planning to do! Our Garden Club has started a new year and membership dues have not risen in 10 years--still $25. The number of free patterns, techniques, prizes, and store specials only for club members will give you a great return on that $25. Next meetings are Oct. 20, 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. or Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. Ask to see the new Block of the Month starting January 2010. We are doing a batik and a country version of this quilt. It will WOW you, we are sure!!!! Keep on quiltin, Beth and Carol |
