ClubsGarden Club We invite you to join our Garden Club. For 2010, we are again creating our own designs for club projects. The Dear John Mystery Quilt consists of 6 1/2" pieced and applique blocks. We are choosing rich, jewel tone fabrics for the quarterly fabric packs. Each month members receive instructions for three basic block designs. The quilt will be queen size when complete. Our second project is called American Heritage Quilt. We are offering two colorways--country and batik. Once again the finished quilt will be queen size. Our small project each month is an applique design for kitchen towels. These make quick and easy gifts for loved ones. Garden Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to Noon or 6 to 7:30 p.m. If those times do not work, we also have a third meeting on the following Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to Noon. Membership dues are $25 annually or $3 per month. So, please consider yourself invited. We promise fun, new techniques, door prizes, show n' tell, membership discounts and so much more...... Knit at Night We have an evening of group knitting, crocheting or hand stitching on the last Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your projects and we will work together, help solve project problems as needed and work out the world's problems as we visit. Come join us! Sew Day Open sew days occur frequently due to popular demand. Bring your projects of choice and sew all day with us (10-5) for only $5. Just call ahead so we can save a spot for you. The dates for summer 2010 are as follows: June 28 July 19 & 30 August 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 September 17, 18 & 28
