ClubsGarden Club We invite you to join our Garden Club. For 2011, we are once again designing our own quilt. This year's quilt will finish at queen size. There are a combination of pieced and appliqued blocks. The pieced blocks are all pinwheel variations and the applique are various flowers. The fabric packs are available quarterly and the colors are rich, medium tones to vibrant deep hues. There is a starter pack of lights to be used for applique backgrounds. We are calling our creation Blossoming Pinwheels! We do have a variety of additional projects planned for each month stretching from handbags to table toppers to quilts and as always, the patterns are free to Club members. Our monthly series of designs will be table topper designs sized to fit the 12" x 14" Ackfeld wire frames. You won't want to miss them!
Garden Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to Noon or 6 to 7:30 p.m. If those times do not work, we also have a third meeting on the following Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to Noon. Membership dues are $25 annually or $3 per month. So, please consider yourself invited. We promise fun, new techniques, door prizes, show n' tell, membership discounts and so much more......
Knit at Night
We have an evening of group knitting, crocheting or hand stitching on the last Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your projects and we will work together, help solve project problems as needed and work out the world's problems as we visit. Come join us!
Sew Day Open sew days occur frequently due to popular demand. Bring your projects of choice and sew all day with us (10-5) for only $5. Just call ahead so we can save a spot for you. Upcoming sew days are: April 14 & 19 May 20 & 26 June 9 & 21
